Acknowledgement of Country

Respecting Country and First Nations Peoples

Bathroom HQ acknowledges the Traditional Owners and Custodians of Country throughout Australia.

We recognise the continuing connection of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to Country, including land, waters, communities, culture and heritage. We acknowledge the knowledge, traditions and stories that have been passed down through generations and continue to shape Australia today.

We pay our respects to Elders past and present, and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

Our connection to Country

Bathroom HQ operates and serves customers across Australia. From our team and showrooms to the homes, businesses and communities where our products are installed, we work and live across many different Countries, each with their own histories, cultures and Traditional Owners.

We believe acknowledging Country is an important way of recognising that connection and showing respect.

We also recognise that reconciliation is about more than an acknowledgement. It is about building understanding, respect and meaningful relationships between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and the wider Australian community.

We are committed to continuing to learn, listen and find meaningful ways to support reconciliation in our workplaces and the communities in which we operate.

Always was, always will be

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples have cared for Country for tens of thousands of years.

We acknowledge that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures are among the oldest continuing cultures in the world, and we recognise the enduring connection First Nations peoples have with Country.

We pay our respects to Elders past and present, and to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
